10-Minute Spicy Fried Rice with Cheese



Ever been so caught up in stuff to do and you just don't know what to eat?


Instant noodles are great, but I usually get tired of it after a while...which is why I came up with this 10-minute fried rice!


It's so simple and SO GOOD :)






Ingredients:

- Rice (overnight or freshly cooked)

- Garlic, chopped

- Onions, chopped

- 1 egg

- 1 slice of cheese

- Korean seaweed topping


Sauce:

- 1 tbsp gochujang

- 1 tsp spicy powder

- 1 tbsp Japanese cooking rice wine

- 1/2 tbsp Japanese soy sauce

- a pinch of black pepper




Method:

1. Prep all the ingredients, mix the sauce ingredients and set aside in a bowl.

2. Fry the garlic and onions until slightly brown.

3. Add the rice and sauce mixture. Mix well so that the sauce is evenly coated. Then, add an egg on top.

4. Once it's fully cooked, add the seaweed toppings and mix it around.

5. Transfer to a plate and add a sliced cheese on top. Microwave for 1minute and serve.


That's it!

Cheese and egg are optional, and you can also add in extra ingredients such as meat and mushrooms.
